1988's The White Arcades is something of a minor ambient classic, made during a period when Harold Budd was on a creative high, recorded with production assistance from the Cocteau Twins' Robin Guthrie, following Budd's collaboration with the band on The Moon And The Melodies, and partly recorded in the band's Edinburgh studio.
