Primarily functioning as the musical backdrop for the movie Highlander, Queen's 1986 release A Kind of Magic differs from their other motion picture soundtrack, 1980's Flash Gordon in that it features all fully realized songs and doesn't contain a single instrumental. Songs like the epic title track, Friends Will Be Friends and Who Wants To Live Forever helped Queen once again attain rock prominence around the world.
