English post-punk group, Swell Maps, formed in 1972 in Birmingham, England. The band was founded by brothers Epic Soundtracks and Nikki Sudden. They were joined by Richard Earl, David Barrington, John Cockrill, and Jowe Head to complete the lineup. Swell Maps released two albums and four singles before disbanding in 1980.
Swell Maps emerged as a prominent figure in the post-punk movement of the late 1970s. Their unique sound blended elements of punk rock with experimental and avant-garde influences. With their innovative approach to music-making, they garnered a dedicated following.

The second and final Swell Maps album from 1980 that was originally released on Rough Trade. It was a massive leap forward in songwriting that is split between pseudo-omnious instrumentals and psychotic diy pop songs. The Swell Maps are absolute legends and this album even though being slightly more mature still had the trademark toy effects. The CD includes a heap of bonus tracks - 22 tracks in total.
