The duo was formed by brothers Don (born February 1, 1937 - died August 21, 2021) and Phil (born January 19, 1939 - died January 3, 2014). They experienced their greatest success between the years of 1957 and 1964. Their unique sound and captivating performances earned them a well-deserved induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 as performers.
