Quicksand is a mid-1990's New York City band with roots in the hardcore music scene. Comprised of former members from Gorilla Biscuits, Bold, Youth Of Today, Absolution, and Beyond, they made a significant impact on the music industry. Despite initially breaking up in 1995, the band reunited in 1997 for a tour and began working on their third album. Unfortunately, this album was never released, leading to another breakup in 1999. However, Quicksand surprised fans by reuniting once again in 2012 for a series of shows.
Their unique sound blends elements of post-hardcore and alternative rock to create an unforgettable listening experience. With powerful vocals and intense instrumentals, Quicksand's music resonates with fans around the world.
Although their time together as a band has been marked by periods of separation and reunion, Quicksand continues to leave an indelible mark on the music industry. Their influence can still be felt today through their passionate performances and timeless tracks.

Interiors features the band’s original (and only) lineup of drummer Alan Cage, frontman/guitarist Walter Schreifels, bassist Sergio Vega, and guitarist Tom Capone. The album will be released on November 10 on Epitaph. A good fit for fans of Rival Schools, Thursday, At The Drive-In, Deftones and Rise Against. “It was all just about being ourselves and who we were as well as who we are,” says Schreifels of the making of Interiors. “We did it for us completely. ”Recorded at Studio 4 Recording in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Interiors was produced and engineered by Will Yip (The Menzingers, Title Fight, Pianos Become the Teeth). While the album finds Quicksand embracing the cathartic, guitar-driven dynamic of their earlier work, Interiors also takes on a wider spectrum of sound.
