Shinichi Atobe

Shinichi Atobe is an electronic music producer based in Saitama, Japan. His first release was in 2001 and he disappeared from the music scene for 13 years until Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty tracked him down in 2014. They discovered that Atobe had other unreleased projects and convinced him to release his album on DDS. In 2016, he released another album on DDS. Daniel Jacques also managed to contact Atobe via email after several attempts in 2010, leading to a collaboration that resulted in the release of an EP on Jadac Recordings.

In addition to his own releases, Atobe's work has been remastered and repressed. He draws inspiration from artists such as Khotin, SW., Huerco S., Shed, DJ Python, Anthony Naples, Galcher Lustwerk, Maurizio, burger/ink, Deepchord, Beta Librae, Kassem Mosse,GAS , Fluxion,Rod Modell ,Deepchord Presents: Echospace ,Monolake Move D,Vladislav Delay,and STL.
