Subrosa is a doom band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah. Formed in 2005, the group consists of Rebecca Vernon on guitar and vocals, Sarah Pendleton and Kim Pack on electric violin and vocals, Levi Hanna on bass and vocals, and Andy Patterson on drums. With their unique blend of haunting melodies and heavy riffs, Subrosa has captivated audiences for over a decade.
In May 2019, the band announced via their Facebook page that they would be going on a temporary hiatus after an impressive 13 years together. Throughout their career, Subrosa has gained recognition for their powerful live performances and thought-provoking lyrics.
With former members including Dave Jones, Christian Creek, and Zachary Hatsis contributing to the band's sound over the years, Subrosa has created a distinctive musical identity within the doom genre.
