Talking Heads

Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City and disbanded in 1991. The band consisted of David Byrne (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Frantz (drums), Tina Weymouth (bass), and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar). They released eight albums, along with several highly acclaimed live albums.

Known for their innovative sound and eclectic style, Talking Heads blended elements of new wave, post-punk, art punk, pop rock, art pop, funk rock, ethno and disco genres. Their music pushed boundaries and challenged conventions while maintaining a catchy and accessible appeal.

In recognition of their significant contributions to the music industry, Talking Heads were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as performers in 2002. Their unique blend of genres continues to inspire musicians and captivate audiences around the world.
