The Knickerbockers

The Knickerbockers are an American garage rock band that formed in Bergenfield, New Jersey in the early 1960s. The original members consisted of *Buddy Randell* on guitar and vocals, *Beau Charles* on bass and vocals, *John Charles* on vocals, saxophone, and drums, and *Jimmy Walker* on drums and vocals. They were known for their energetic performances and catchy tunes.

Throughout their career, The Knickerbockers had a few lineup changes but remained true to their garage rock sound. Some past members included Skip Cherubino on drums, Ned Brown on keyboards, Peter Glitz on drums, *Larry Parrish* on vocals from 1967 to 1970, Barry McCoy on keyboards from 1967 to 1968, John Deleone on drums from 1967 to 1968, Pete LoCascio on drums initially in 1962 before being replaced by Jimmy Walker later that year.

The Knickerbockers drew inspiration from bands like The Remains, The Standells, The Music Machine,and many others who were part of the garage rock movement. Their music captured the raw energy and rebellious spirit of the era. With hits like "Lies" and "One Track Mind," they made a significant impact in the music scene during their active years.
