The Subways are an English rock band from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Founded in 2002, the band consists of Billy Lunn on guitar and vocals, Charlotte Cooper on bass and vocals, and Camille Phillips on drums. In October 2020, founding member and drummer Josh Morgan left the band for family reasons. [a10894096] was announced as a permanent replacement.
With their energetic sound and catchy melodies, The Subways have become known for their high-energy live performances. Influenced by bands like Dirty Pretty Things, The Pigeon Detectives, and We Are Scientists, they have carved out their own unique place in the indie rock scene.
