Thin Lizzy

Thin Lizzy is an Irish rock band that was formed in Dublin in 1969. The band had various combinations of former members after the death of their founding member and frontman. Although they disbanded in 1983, Thin Lizzy reformed and continued to perform with different line-ups. Throughout their existence, they had several guitar players including well-known names such as Gary Moore and Snowy White. Drummer Brian Downey replaced a previous drummer for a few gigs, while keyboard players Eric Bell and Darren Wharton contributed to the band's recordings. The most famous and recognized line-up of Thin Lizzy was during the period from 1974 to 1978 with Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson on lead guitar. Currently, Scott Gorham and Ricky Warwick are touring under the name Thin Lizzy.
