Twink

Born in 1944 in Colchester, Essex, England, Twink is a legendary artist known for his contributions to British psychedelia. In the 1960s, he was part of influential groups such as The Pretty Things and Tomorrow. In 1970, Twink released the groundbreaking album "Think Pink" with the help of Mick Farren and talented musicians like Paul Rudolph and Steve Peregrin Took. This collection of songs, instrumentals, and poetry is considered a must-have for fans of psychedelic music. Twink also played drums in the short-lived supergroup "Stars" alongside Syd Barrett. Despite converting to Islam in 2006 and changing his name to Mohammed Abdullah, Twink continues to create music under his iconic moniker. His most recent studio album "Think Pink IV: Return To Deep Space" was recorded in collaboration with Moths & Locusts And Heavy Friends in 2019.
