Fever is Ula Ruth's follow-up EP to Restless Nights, which was produced by Chris Ruggiero and mixed by Greg Giorgio. Fittingly, the Brooklyn-based band recorded the ghostly track in the same allegedly-haunted Victorian house/studio where The National records. "I always imagined the song taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, one where everything is crumbling right before our very eyes," said vocalist/rhythmic guitarist Nic James. "Overall, there's a lot of hope in the track, the fact that we'll all make it out of the disaster just in time. There's also a darkness looming that suggests the salvation is only for the time being, and unlike time, we are not eternal."
