Vulfpeck

Vulfpeck is an American funk group founded in 2011. The band was formed by Jack Stratton, who had the idea of creating an imaginary German version of the renowned session musicians from the 1960s after reading an interview with German producer Reinhold Mack. Their first performance as a rhythm section took place at the Duderstadt Center, and they released their debut track "Beastly" on YouTube in April 2011.

The main members of Vulfpeck are all graduates from the University of Michigan's music school. Jack Stratton plays keyboards, drums, and guitar; Theo Katzman handles guitar, drums, and vocals; Joe Dart is on bass; and Woody Goss takes care of keyboards. During live shows, they collaborate with various guest musicians to create unique experiences for their audience.
