Marduk

A Black Metal band from Norrköping, Sweden, founded in 1990 by Morgan Håkansson. Marduk has been a prominent figure in the metal scene for over three decades. With their intense and aggressive sound, they have gained a loyal following worldwide.

The current line-up of Marduk includes Morgan Håkansson on guitar since the band's inception. Mortuus joined as the vocalist in 2004, bringing his powerful and haunting voice to the mix. Simon Schilling took over the drums in 2019, adding his exceptional skills to the band's dynamic sound. Joel Lindholm played bass with Marduk from 2020 to 2023 before moving on to pursue other projects.

Marduk's music is characterized by its dark and atmospheric melodies, blistering guitar riffs, thunderous drums, and raw vocals that delve into themes of war, history, and anti-Christianity. Their discography boasts numerous critically acclaimed albums that have solidified their status as one of the most influential black metal bands of all time.
