Sacred Reich
Sacred Reich is a thrash metal band from Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 1985, the band was led by singer/songwriter Phil Rind, who focused on socially-conscious and political speed metal. After releasing several records on Metal Blade, they briefly signed with Hollywood Records before returning to Metal Blade. Although the band split in 2000, they reformed in 2006.
Over the years, Sacred Reich's lineup has seen changes. Former drummer Dave McClain joined Machine Head in 1995, while lead guitarist Wiley Arnett formed The Human Condition with St. Madness vocalist Prophet in 2000. In recent years, the band has reunited for shows in Europe and released a live performance at Wacken Open Air 2009 on CD and DVD.
The current members of Sacred Reich include Phil Rind on vocals and bass, Wiley Arnett on lead guitar, Dave McClain on drums (since 2018), and Joey Radziwill on rhythm guitar (since 2019). The band's former members include Dan Kelly (vocals), Jeff Martinek (guitar), Jason Rainey (rhythm guitar), and Greg Hall (drums).
