Tackhead

Tackhead is a pioneering electrofunk band formed in 1984 by bassist Doug Wimbish, guitarist Skip McDonald, and drummer Keith Leblanc. Originally known as Fats Comet, they later adopted the name Tackhead. Their unique sound combines elements of dub, funk, and industrial music.

With the addition of vocalist Bernard Fowler in 1989, Tackhead expanded their musical direction and gained wider recognition. They have also served as a backing band for artists such as Mark Stewart and Gary Clail.
