Tears For Fears

Tears For Fears is a UK rock-pop group that was formed in 1981 by Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal. With three platinum albums and a series of hit singles, the duo achieved great success before splitting up in 1991. Following the split, Orzabal continued to release music under the band name, while Smith pursued a solo career in the US. In 2000, they reconnected and began collaborating on new material.

After their formation in 1981, Tears For Fears quickly gained popularity with their unique blend of rock and pop music. Their talent for crafting catchy melodies and introspective lyrics led to the release of several successful albums and numerous chart-topping singles.

In 1991, after achieving significant commercial success, Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal decided to part ways. Orzabal carried on as Tears For Fears, releasing two albums - 'Elemental' (1993) and 'Raoul and the Kings of Spain' (1995). Meanwhile, Smith embarked on a solo career in the United States.

However, fate had other plans for this iconic duo. In 2000, Smith and Orzabal reconnected after almost a decade apart. They reignited their creative partnership and started working together again on fresh material that would captivate fans once more.
