The Fleshtones

The Fleshtones are a garage rock revivalist band formed in 1976 in Queens, New York. Comprised of vocalist/keyboardist Peter Zaremba, guitarist Keith Streng, bassist Jan Marek Pakulski, and drummer Bill Milhizer, the group aims to bring back the simplicity and unself-consciousness of '50s and early '60s rock & roll. Their music is a blend of fuzz guitar and Farfisa organ sounds with elements of rockabilly, '50s and '60s R&B, and surf. They have been an integral part of New York's punk and new wave scene since their debut EP "Up-Front" in 1980.

Throughout their career, The Fleshtones have released several albums including "Roman Gods," "Blast Off!," "Hexbreaker," which is widely regarded as their finest work, "Powerstance," "Beautiful Light," "Do You Swing?," and "Beachhead." In 2008, they proved their ability to still be raucous after more than 30 years together with the release of "Take a Good Look."
