Volbeat

Volbeat is a Danish heavy metal band that was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2001. Known for their fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, and rockabilly, the band has received worldwide acclaim for their albums. Their unique sound has garnered them numerous music awards, including Danish Radio P3's "Lytterhittet" (listeners' favorite) four times as of 2016.

The current members of Volbeat include *Michael Poulsen* on lead vocals and rhythm guitar since 2001, *Jon Larsen* on drums and percussion since 2001, *Rob Caggiano* on lead guitar and backing vocals since 2013 (previously bass guitar from 2015-2016), and *Kaspar Boye Larsen* on bass guitar and backing vocals (briefly in 2006 and again from 2016 to present).

Former members of the band include *Anders Kjølholm*, who played bass guitar and provided backing vocals from 2001 to 2015; *Teddy Vang*, who played lead guitar from 2001 to 2002; *Franz "Hellboss" Gottschalk*, who played lead guitar and provided backing vocals from 2002 to 2006; and *Thomas Bredahl*, who played lead guitar and provided backing vocals from 2006 to 2011.
