Nine Inch Nails (NIN) is an industrial rock band formed in 1988 by Trent Reznor in Cleveland, Ohio. Reznor has been the main producer, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and sole member of Nine Inch Nails for 28 years. In December 2016, Atticus Ross officially became the second member of the band. Known for their melding of industrial elements with pop sensibilities, Nine Inch Nails played a significant role in bringing the industrial genre into the mainstream.
