TRIBO SUL is a hip hop platoon from Luanda, Angola. They are pioneers of the Hip-hop movement in Angola and consist of three MC's - L.K. Checcovara, First Page, and Cavera C. a.k.a L'capitano. Despite facing false political propaganda and media blockade, they continue to fight for freedom through their music.

Victimized by corrupt power and forced to leave their country due to civil war, Tribo Sul sought asylum in South Africa. They now face new battles as they navigate racism, drugs, violence, AIDS, and xenophobia.

With Masta Joy joining them as the fourth soldier of the platoon, Tribo Sul is known for their positive language, revolutionary voices, and Afro hardcore beats. Their music represents freedom, peace, bread and water.
