The KLF

The KLF is a duo comprised of Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond. Known for their anarchic situationist manifestations, they gained notoriety through defacing billboard adverts, posting cryptic advertisements in magazines, and delivering unique performances on Top of the Pops. Their departure from the music business was announced with a controversial performance at the 1992 BRIT Awards. Despite deleting their entire back catalogue, they have released new tracks under different names since then.

Following their success as The KLF, Drummond and Cauty established the K Foundation to subvert the art world. They organized an alternative art award for the worst artist of the year and famously burned one million pounds sterling. Although their music remains deleted in the UK, they have recently made a comeback with an 8-track compilation release on streaming platforms.

In addition to their musical endeavors, The KLF published a book called "The Manual" and worked on a road movie titled "The White Room." Their unique philosophy and distinctive approach continue to captivate audiences around the world.
