'Long Beach 1976', is part of earMusic's Deep Purple / DPO reissue series that, over the last couple of years, has seen the release of rare live material from the band, including 'Copenhagen 1972', 'Stockholm 1970', 'Paris 1975', 'Graz 1975' and 'Long Beach 1971'. The 6th edition of the DPO series features one of the rare live recordings from Deep Purple MK IV line up (Bolin - Coverdale - Hughes - Lord - Paice). The show at the Long Beach Arena, California was originally recorded on February 27th for a radio broadcast in the US. The rare recording is completed with three additional live tracks taken from a different concert recording from the same tour (Springfield, January 1976). 2CD - Double CD in Digipack. 3LP - triple Lp in Gatefold Sleeve.
