Is there something that Irish and Franconians have in common? A whole lot! First of all, there is a very special connection to home and the love for traditions that have been passed down for many generations, with which people dedicate themselves to their customs both on the Green Island and in the red and white Franconian region. In addition, there is a certain likeable willfulness to take things into his own hands. And last but not least, an almost death-defying sociability with which Irish and Franconians alike unwaveringly celebrate life with all its ups and downs.

Characteristics that Fiddler`s Green have united in their rousing high power sound for more than three decades. Since its founding in 1990, the Erlanger Sextet has earned status as one of the most popular, successful and enduring formations within the European folk rock community. A well-oiled Irish speed folk machine that is now at the zenith of its work with its new studio album "The Green Machine"! While working on their last three albums, the idea for "The Green Machine" began to develop, mature and finally take on a life of its own. Together with the proven producer Jörg Umbreit (In Extremo, Grave Digger, Die Toten Hosen), a living organism was created over the past 36 months in the seclusion of the renowned Principal Studio near Münster, which now shows Fiddler's Green at its most varied and complex side For twelve songs, the band spans the stylistic spectrum from their beloved full-throttle party sound to touching ballads and poppier pieces to driving mid-tempo rockers and even country and western-influenced tracks that have never been heard in this form before heard about the people from Erlangen. 50 Shades of Green, so to speak, in which the fiddlers combine a lot of energy with an unprecedented attention to detail and a high percentage of storytelling. "Irish Speedfall"-2023: From the beginning of November, Fiddler`s Green will go on a short tour in Germany, before the sextet presents the new album live on their big “The Green Machine” tour in spring 2024.
