Born on December 30, 1942 in Houston, Texas, he made significant contributions to the music industry as a singer/songwriter, musician, actor, producer, novelist and businessman. He was the proud owner of The Pacific Arts Corp., Inc. Throughout his career, Nesmith's creativity knew no bounds.

With a diverse range of talents and interests spanning various artistic fields including music and literature, Nesmith left an indelible mark on the entertainment world. His work extended beyond his solo endeavors; he collaborated with renowned artists such as *Gene Clark*, *Dillard & Clark*, *The Flying Burrito Brothers*, *The International Submarine Band*, *Roger McGuinn*, *Gram Parsons*, *Chris Hillman* and many others.
