The Feelies are a rock band from Haledon, New Jersey. They formed in 1976, disbanded in 1992, and reunited in 2008. They frequently played at Maxwell's, a live music venue and bar/restaurant in Hoboken in the 1980s.
In 1987, The Feelies gigged around New York and Hoboken under the name [a321515]. This side project was fronted by Dave Weckerman, the percussionist of The Feelies who also sang lead. The line-up included all members of The Feelies plus John Baumgartner on keyboards.

Domino is an independent label founded in Putney, South West London by *a694357* and his partner Jacqui Rice in 1993. The label initially focused on American acts such as *Sebadoh*, *Pavement* or *Royal Trux* before signing British acts in the late '90s.

The label operates a US division, located in Brooklyn, which output was initially identified by its own catalogue number schemes, DOMUS then DNO (used until 2013), when the releases handled by the UK headquarters are identified by WIG (albums) and RUG (singles and EPs) catalogue numbers.

The company operating the label, *Warp Records*, diversified, establishing a publishing arm and a series of labels (*Double Six Recordings*, *Weird World Record Co.*, *Rephlex*, ...).

Originally released in 1980 on Stiff Records, Crazy Rhythms is the debut album from post-punk band The Feelies. Formed in 1976, the group had a major influence over the new wave movement and beyond; with REM amongst others citing them as an important influence. With a musical landscape that is sparse and thoughtful at times and vibrantly raucous when necessary. Crazy Rhythms lives up to its title, pairing the group's signature skitter-to-drone guitar sound with neurotic energy drafted off the moment punk started to give way to new wave. Short tracks like Fa Cé La and Moscow Nights have a pop punch while longer songs like Forces At Work and the title track find different sorts of thrills from the unexpected way their uneasy jangles and insistent beats weave together in an ever tighter bundle of sound.
