XTC is a musically adventurous group from Swindon, UK. The regular line-up consisted of Andy Partridge on guitar and vocals, Colin Moulding on bass and vocals, Barry Andrews on keyboards (left in 1979), Dave Gregory on guitar and keyboards (left in 1999), and Terry Chambers on drums (left in 1983).

Originally emerging from the ashes of The Helium Kidz, XTC has consistently defied categorization throughout their career. Their willingness to experiment with different styles has made them a unique presence in the music industry.

Oranges and Lemons, from 1989, is a fantastic record, a lucid, technicolour sprawl of modernized Beatleisms and airbrushed psych-pop confectionary. Appropriately, given its title, several of the songs on Oranges and Lemons deal with Andy Partridge's newly acquired parental status (the jazzy Pink Thing) is a cunning double-entendre about fatherly pride and his penis) as well as wryly address the wider failings of the world into which our children are born. 2LP - The album has been mastered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering with input from Andy Partridge and is fully approved by XTC. The album is one of the most requested vinyl reissues as it was only on vinyl for a short period towards the end of the first vinyl era and was, as a result, never available as a decent quality pressing and poorly presented in a single sleeve. The sleeve has been re-worked to present the front colour image in all its psychedelic glory - and expanded to a Gatefold to accommodate both the weight of the vinyl and the inclusion of song lyrics.
