Faithless

Faithless is a British electronic band formed in London, England in 1994. The group consists of Maxwell Fraser AKA Maxi Jazz (Conscious Rap), Ayalah Bentovim also known as Sister Bliss (Music), and Roland Armstrong AKA Rollo (Producer, Music). Pauline Taylor provides vocals for many of their songs. Jamie Catto was originally part of the group but left after the release of their second album "Sunday 8PM". Zoë Johnston joined for the album "Outrospective".

Their first album, 1996's "Reverence", gained popularity underground but didn't quite break into the mainstream. However, their second album "Sunday 8AM" changed everything with its hit single "God Is a DJ" becoming a club anthem and the album achieving greater sales than any previous releases. Despite criticism from critics, Faithless continued to move forward with all members pursuing solo careers alongside their work as a band.

During live performances, Faithless is joined by guitarist Dave Randall and bassist Aubrey Nunn. Some original members including Sister Bliss, Maxi Jazz, and percussionist Sudha Kheterpal still perform under the name Faithless Sound System.
