John Legend

John Legend, born on December 28, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio, is a multi-talented musician known for his soulful style. He honed his musical skills while attending the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and spent nine years as a music/choir director at Bethel A.M.E. Church. Influenced by classic soul and gospel legends, John has created his own unique sound. With early exposure to piano playing, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Black Eyed Peas, Eve, Lauryn Hill, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys. Since 2000, John has been captivating audiences with his performances and gained recognition after collaborating with Kanye West.

In 2004, John released his debut CD "Get Lifted" under Sony Urban label in the United States. The album featured production from Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas along with long-time associates Dave Tozer & Devo Harris. Notably, Kanye West was also involved as the producer behind John's debut single "Used To Love U".

With an impressive musical background and collaborations with industry heavyweights like Kanye West and Alicia Keys among others; John Legend continues to captivate listeners worldwide with his soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
