Kellee Patterson, born in the midwest just outside Chicago and raised in Gary, Indiana, is a renowned singer who gained fame as the first black girl to become Miss Indiana in 1971. With her exceptional singing talents, she embarked on a professional career at the young age of 16. Following her success in the Miss America pageant, Kellee toured the world showcasing her vocal abilities and delivering inspiring speeches.

Not only did Kellee break barriers with her beauty and talent, but she also ventured into television as the host of Harambee in Chicago. However, her passion for singing remained strong, leading her to pursue a thriving career on the West Coast.
