Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson, known as the "King Of Pop," was an American singer, dancer, entertainer, songwriter, producer and recording artist. Born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, he began his career as the youngest member of The Jackson 5 and went on to have a successful solo recording career starting in 1971. With his immense talent and diverse skills as a musician, music producer, writer and choreographer, Jackson became one of the most celebrated and influential music artists of all time.

Aside from his musical achievements, Michael Jackson was also a poet, actor and philanthropist. He came from a talented family of recording artists including siblings Jackie Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, La Toya Jackson Marlon Jackson Randy Jackson Rebbie Jackson & Tito Jackson. He was also the uncle of 3T.

In recognition of his contributions to music history and culture, Jackson was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 as a performer.
