Sampa The Great

Sampa The Great is a Zambian hip-hop MC, singer, songwriter, and poet. Born in 1993 in Ndola, Zambia and raised in Botswana, she has been based in Sydney, Australia since 2013 before relocating to Melbourne in 2018. Her debut solo album, The Return (September 2019), reached No.12 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Notably, her single 'Final Form' won Best Hip Hop Release the following year. Sampa's music is influenced by her Bemba and Tumbuka heritage and she comes from a talented family with her sister also being a recording artist.
