Editors is a British indie rock band that was founded in 2002 in Stafford, Staffordshire and is currently based in Birmingham. The band consists of Tom Smith on vocals, guitar, and keyboards; Russell Leetch on bass guitar and keyboards; Ed Lay on drums and backing vocals; Elliott Williams on keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals since 2012; Justin Lockey on guitar since 2012; and Benjamin John Power since 2022. Former member Chris Urbanowicz left the band in April 2012.

PIAS is an international licensing, distribution, sales and marketing company for premium music, film and comedy. The name is short for Play It Again Sam. Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, the group also has significant operations in the UK, France, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, and Ireland.The Group was founded in 1982 by Kenny Gates and Michel Lambot who are still the co-presidents of the Group. The Editors are back with album number 6. Violence was produced by Leo Abrahams, with additional production from Benjamin John Power (Blanck Mass, Fuck Buttons). The album standout tracks are Magazine - a powerful post-punk song that would sit in between Nine Inch Nails and Gary Numan's recent releases, Counting Spooks which is symphonic and haunting, the beautiful piano ballad No Sound But The Wind and epic closer Belong.
