The esteemed electro/dance project Emmon saw the light of day in 2001, originally created as an art project during Emma's studies at art school while experimenting in the sound lab. With her explosive one-woman shows and engaging DJ-gigs, she quickly took her place front and centre of the electroclash genre at alternative stages in Sweden and entered the music industry by producing highly coveted remixes of famous Swedish acts such as The Knife, Melody Club &amp; BWO. When the Covid pandemic suddenly struck Emmon had a tour all planned out and was one of the last to perform live in Stockholm in March 2020 just before the world closed down. However, the pandemic gave room to creating and recording the new album Recon. Emmon tells us; "The new songs have become harder and got a darker costume. Musically, I went back to my creative roots and to the sound of the 00's electroclash scene that Emmon was created and descends from." Mixed with progressive old school synth in a postmodern production that is primarily produced to be performed live.
