Foxing is an American indie rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. They formed in 2011 after the disbandment of Hunter Gatherer, a post-rock group. The band consists of Josh Coll, Jon Hellwig, and Matthew Piva. In November 2013, they released their debut album The Albatross and signed with Triple Crown Records in 2014.
In 2014, Foxing toured with Seahaven and The Hotelier. They also supported Modern Baseball on their fall headlining tour that year. In summer 2015, they joined Philadelphia band MewithoutYou's tour to promote their new album Pale Horse.
Known for their unique sound and emotional lyrics, Foxing has gained popularity among fans of bands like The Hotelier, Tiny Moving Parts, Tigers Jaw, and more.
