John Grant is an American singer-songwriter, born on July 25, 1968 in Buchanan, Michigan. He gained recognition as a member of the Denver-based alternative rock band The Czars during the 1990s and early 2000s. In 2010, he embarked on a successful solo career. Notably, Grant relocated to Iceland in 2013 and was granted Icelandic citizenship in 2022.

With his unique blend of alternative rock and introspective lyrics, John Grant has captivated audiences worldwide.
