Reprise Records, also known as "Reprise", is an American label that was formed in December 1960 by Frank Sinatra. It was created to provide more artistic freedom for Sinatra's own recordings and soon became the home for other members of the "Rat Pack" such as Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. In August 1963, Reprise was sold to Warner Bros. Records, becoming its parent company. While still maintaining artistic control for its artists, Reprise has also served as a distributor for other Warner Music Group labels like Sire Records Company and Tommy Boy Music.

Throughout its history, Reprise has had distinct label features including the iconic tri-color 'steamboat' label with a green quadrant above yellow and the use of different color combinations over time. The label has gone through various changes but has always remained committed to supporting its artists while expanding its responsibilities within the Warner Music Group.

It's important to note that some early 1990s promotional CDs from Reprise Records may have a generic copyright year of "©1990" even though they were released later. Additionally, US cassettes and 8-tracks may have a REP code on the spine or elsewhere near the catalogue number which should not be mistaken as part of the catalogue number itself.

Neil Young is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter and musician known for his solo releases, collaborations with other artists, and his activism on environmental and political issues. He plays guitar, keyboards, and harmonica. Born in Toronto, Canada in 1945, Young currently holds dual citizenship for Canada and the United States. He has been living in California since the sixties. In 1995, he was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as a performer. Despite facing delays due to his marijuana use, Young successfully became a United States citizen.
Young's musical career spans several decades and genres including folk rock, country rock, and grunge. As an influential figure in the music industry, he has released numerous critically acclaimed albums both as a solo artist and with various bands such as Crosby Stills Nash & Young (CSNY).
In addition to his musical pursuits, Neil Young also runs Vapor Records - an independent record label that supports emerging artists. His passion for environmental causes led him to co-found Farm Aid - an annual benefit concert that raises funds for family farmers.

Neil Young is set to deliver more rare live recordings from his extensive archives with the Neil Young Official Bootleg Series (OBS) which began last autumn with the release of Carnegie Hall 1970 (OBS1). Young releases the next three installments in the bootleg series as follows: Royce Hall, 1971 was recorded January 30 on the UCLA campus, a solo acoustic gig. Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971 – also solo acoustic - is the last US show of Young’s 1971 solo tour. Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line), from New York City 1974 is a surprise set. Where analog tape exists in Young’s archive, these concerts have been mixed properly, providing much higher quality recordings than have previously existed – Royce Hall 1971 and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion 1971 are from the original analog masters. If no tape exists, the original bootleg has been restored and remastered to bring listeners the best audio experience possible - Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line), from New York City 1974. The original bootleg artwork has also been replicated wherever possible, lending each release that treasured collector’s vibe and conjuring the era they were first created in. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 1971 album cover, for example, features the worn and faded ring of an LP.
