Phoenix is a French indie pop band formed in Versailles in 1999. The band consists of Thomas Mars (lead vocals), Deck d'Arcy (bass/keyboards), Christian Mazzalai (guitar), and Laurent Brancowitz (guitar/keyboards). They gained international recognition with their breakthrough album "Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix" in 2009, which included the hit singles "1901" and "Lisztomania". Known for their infectious melodies, catchy hooks, and energetic live performances, Phoenix has become one of the most influential bands in the indie music scene.
Over the years, Phoenix has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "United" (2000), "Alphabetical" (2004), and "Bankrupt!" (2013). Their unique blend of synth-pop, rock, and new wave influences has earned them a dedicated fan base worldwide. With their distinctive sound characterized by lush production and Mars' distinct vocals, Phoenix continues to push boundaries and evolve as artists.
In addition to their success as recording artists, Phoenix has also made significant contributions to film soundtracks. They collaborated with director Sofia Coppola on multiple projects, including scoring her films "Lost in Translation" and "Somewhere". Their music has been featured in numerous commercials and television shows as well.

Glassnote is an American record label launched in 2007 by a renowned music executive. With a focus on indie rock and alternative rock artists, Glassnote has also released music from popular artists across various genres. The label is distributed by RED Distribution in the United States and signed a global distribution agreement with Universal Music Group in 2014, excluding Australia/New Zealand (Liberator) and South Africa (Just Music). In November of 2018, Glassnote made a distribution deal with AWAL, followed by a new partnership with The Orchard starting June 2022.
