Scorpions is a Hard Rock band formed in 1965 in Hannover, Germany by Rudolf Schenker. They have experimented with various styles of Rock music including 1970's Hard Rock and 1980's Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal). The band is best known for their iconic rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and other popular songs like "No One Like You", "Send Me an Angel", "Still Loving You", and "Wind of Change". Scorpions was ranked #46 on VH1's "Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" television program and their song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" holds the #18 spot on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.

After performing for 45 years, Scorpions initially announced their retirement following the release of their album "Sting In The Tail". However, due to their love for touring and creating new music, they decided to continue. They have written new songs, released new albums, and continued to tour extensively. Inspired by the experience of playing at the Moscow Music Peace Festival in 1989, Wind of Change embodies the feeling of hope, optimism and the prospect of a better future.The box set, which appears in a brick look, contains a 84-page hardcover book with an essay written by Dr. Edgar Klüsener, former editor-in-chief of Metal Hammer and close confidant of the band, who interviewed Klaus Meine exclusively for this purpose and writes about the genesis and impact of the song.The book contains rare photographs of the band‘s photographer Didi Zill and Klaus Meine‘s private archive, as well as the handwritten lyrics for „Wind of Change“ by Klaus Meine.Next to the book the box set includes a vocal and piano arrangement of „Wind of Change“.
