BMG Rights Management is a multinational label that was established as a joint venture between Bertelsmann AG and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. It operates under the name BMG Chrysalis in the USA, UK, and Sweden, following its acquisition of Chrysalis plc. In 2012, Bertelsmann bought out Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.'s share of the company after an unsuccessful attempt to acquire EMI's recorded-music assets. While BMG Rights Management is the successor of the original Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), it has undergone significant changes and now operates independently with no connection to its former incarnation.

The Faim release their debut album, State of Mind via BMG. It's a great balance of unique pop-rock sounds, rounded out with lush live band elements and massive choruses.The Faim unveiled their debut EP, Summer Is a Curse, last year and wasted no time creating music for their first full-length effort, State of Mind. Over the course of two years, the group worked with numerous producers to craft a collection of songs that showcase a vast range of styles and tones.
