BGO Records (Beat Goes On Records) is a British independent reissue label founded in 1987 by owner/manager Andy Gray. The Searchers are a Liverpool based group that started out as the backing band for singer Johnny Sandon. However, they soon decided to venture out on their own and caught the attention of Pye Records recording manager Tony Hatch with an impressive demo. This led to them signing a contract and recording their first song, "Sweets For My Sweet".

Over the years, The Searchers went through several lineup changes but remained consistent in delivering their signature sound. They performed their last shows in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of memorable music.
