<p>UFO is a British heavy metal/hard rock band that was formed in 1969. The group consists of vocalist Phil Mogg, drummer Andy Parker, guitarist Mick Bolton and bassist Pete Way. In 1973, they gained global recognition when German guitarist Michael Schenker joined the band after leaving Scorpions. Over the years, UFO has experienced several line-up changes but saw a surprising reunion in 1993 with the return of their former members. Despite Schenker's departure during the Walk On Water tour to focus on his own group MSG, Phil Mogg and Andy Parker remain as current members of UFO.</p>
