Alabama Slim, born Milton Frazier in Vance, Alabama on March 29, 1939, is a renowned Bluesman. Growing up in a humble household where his father worked at the Pullman plant and his mother did domestic work to support the family, Slim developed a deep love for blues music. Inspired by the sounds of Bill Broonzy and Lightnin’ Hopkins, he embarked on a musical journey that would lead him to become a well-dressed artist with an unmistakable style. In 2020, Alabama Slim was set to make waves with his scheduled appearance at the prestigious New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
