David Fenech

David Fenech is a composer, performer, and improviser from France. With over ten years of experience, his works span various mediums including acoustic, electronic, tape, and digital media. He is skilled in playing guitar and ukulele as well as small instruments like melodica and toy piano. David has collaborated with notable musicians such as Rhys Chatham, Pierre Bastien, Nurse With Wound, Jad Fair, and many others. Born in July 1969, he received a guitar for his 10th birthday and has been making music ever since.

In 1991, David co-founded the musical collective Peu importe in Grenoble where they focused on free improvisation and songs. Later on, his music took a more personal and unconventional direction with an emphasis on using voice as an instrument. He released his first solo CD titled "Tous les Goûts sont dans ma Nature" which offers listeners an immersive auditory experience through its eight different tracks. Additionally, he collaborated with Moka to release the LP "Les Vaches" (Cows) on Romulus and Remus.
