Essential Logic

Essential Logic is an English post-punk band that was formed in 1978 by saxophonist Lora Logic, who had previously been a member of X-Ray Spex. The original lineup included Lora on vocals, Phil Legg on guitar and vocals, William Bennett on guitar, Mark Turner on bass guitar, Rich Tea on drums, and Dave Wright on saxophone. Later, Jon Oliver or Ben Annesley replaced Mark Turner on bass. After splitting in 1981, the band reunited in 2001.

With their unique blend of post-punk sound and Lora's distinctive saxophone playing, Essential Logic quickly gained attention in the music scene. Their energetic performances and thought-provoking lyrics captivated audiences across the UK.

Although their time together was relatively short-lived initially, Essential Logic left a lasting impact with their influential music. Fans eagerly welcomed their reunion in 2001 and continue to appreciate the band's contribution to the post-punk genre.
