Henry Cow
Henry Cow was a British avant-garde/art-rock group that was founded in May 1968 at Cambridge University. The multi-instrumentalists Fred Frith and Tim Hodgkinson were the founding members, with other important long-term members including drummer Chris Cutler, bassist John Greaves, and bassoonist/oboist Lindsay Cooper. Known for their experimental sound, Henry Cow disbanded in 1978.
