Lloyd / Bean

Lloyd / Bean was an amateur engineer, radio recording enthusiast, and record company executive. Born on January 4, 1918, he made a significant impact in the music industry until his death on December 31, 2000.

He is best known for creating various bootleg labels such as Alto Records, Ozone, and Session Disc. These labels focused on jazz radio broadcasts as well as popular entertainment and scores from musicals and dance movies. Lloyd / Bean released around 400 LPs throughout his career.

His passion for music led him to establish numerous other labels including Accessor Pro, Ambrosia, Andros Records, Antron, Aspen, Axtor Disque, Bamboo Industries Records, Beppo, Big Chief-Jerollomo,Big Molly,Bombasi,Bonsard,and many more. His contributions to the music industry are invaluable.
