Loose Fur

American supergroup *Loose Fur* is composed of Wilco members Jeff Tweedy and Glenn Kotche, along with Jim O'Rourke. In May 2000, Tweedy invited O'Rourke to perform at Chicago's Noise Pop festival. During rehearsals, O'Rourke brought drummer Glenn Kotche along, and the trio worked on new songs for Tweedy's performance. This collaboration led to their self-titled album release. Inspired by the experience, Tweedy welcomed both O'Rourke and Kotche into his band Wilco: Kotche became their new drummer, while O'Rourke mixed their acclaimed Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album.
