Mates Of State

Mates Of State is an indie rock band hailing from Stratford, Connecticut, USA. Formed in 1997 in Lawrence, Kansas, the duo of Kori (organ, vox) and Jason (drums, vox) made their mark on the music scene with their unique sound. After leaving their day jobs as a teacher and cancer researcher in 2001, they took the plunge into full-time music and even tied the knot. With their captivating performances and heartfelt lyrics, Mates Of State have become a force to be reckoned with.
